Wouldn't be surprised if the high costs are due to the pirates ripping them off.
Geez! Please spare me such uninformed comments, and read this:

Here's mine for the day, part of a series I just started yesterday. I'm photographing Starbucks cups that are used and naming the photos by the name of the person's cup. Let me know what you guys think, I'll post more throughout the days.

I for one salute Apple in its efforts to ensure a safe computing environment.
And, my salute has NOTHING to do with the fact that my 18 month old and very used iBook battery currently only holds a 10 minutes charge.
:) :) :)
Crossing my fingers I have an unsafe battery...

Not being an American, I won't wade into Constitutional issues ...
Obama is quite within his rights according to the War Powers Resolution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Powers_Resolution) ...
The War Powers Resolution requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30 day withdrawal period, without an authorization of the use of military force or a declaration of war. The resolution was passed by two-thirds of Congress, overriding a presidential veto.

3G/UMTS, that's what's in the air! And now all we need is an iPhone that supports it. ...and is available in the Netherlands...

I think the irony has to do with the approval process for Facebook applications (like all of those games people play on Facebook), not access to personal information.
I suspect a lot of that approval is related to security of the personal information obtained within Facebook. Don't applications have some access to that information? As a result, yea. The approval is pretty important.
The sandboxing done on the iPhone means no application can access other applications data, and the only access they have is to the address book. This could be mitigated by prompting the user to allow an app to be granted access to the address book in cases where the app wasn't approved by apple.
Security reasons are pretty small on most iPhone applications.

Proof? Or did you just make that up? Also, this thread isn't just about the US, the trend is the same in every predominantly white country where blacks reside.
It isn't my job to educate you on the facts - Read (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_and_crime_in_the_United_States), focusing on the linked statistical breakdowns by ethnicity. You'll have to nose around to find all the data. All that the facts proove is that poor black people with little education who grow up in economically depressed comunities and are surrounded by crime are more likely to commit crimes - but are also more likely to be profiled by law enforcement and the justice system. Also, the data are skewed towards urban areas, meaning that poor rural crime is less well documented.
In other words, it is totally impossible to make any purely race-focused judgemnent from the data because there are so many other factors involved. The same problems arise when examining crime data from any other nation with a minority black population, or any minority population for that matter.
I'd rather live in a white trash trailer park than in a black ghetto.
Irrelevant.
They are both lousy, but trailer parks are safer. People may get into domestic disputes in their own trailers and call the police, but you don't see white gangs terrorizing the streets and having to worry about getting shot walking outside your front door after dark.

Here we go with the "You said this, so you must be this..." stereotype...
I know guys where even though they are the "bread winner" or contribute greatly to the funds, they have to approve EVERYTHING through the Wife - whereas the Wife can spend as she pleases....
Happy Wife, Happy Life...
Not into that type of relationship.
That "type" of relationship? You mean that exact description. Because either A) you're not married, or B) have a very similar scenario with only slight difference. The differences being where you pass judgement, but remain altogether similar.
Wow - it just keeps going, and going....

In one week, the final Halo game from Bungie will be released, and we will all finally get to see the downfall of planet Reach up close and personal. Just like the planet, Bungie is closing out their series of Halo games with a bang, filling the game with many improvements and new features.

it says my computer is effect(its model number) but it says my Battery is not...my number on my battery starts with 6C5393... any tell me if it is effected?
The battery is paired with the computer - e.g. one battery goes with the computer serial (don't need to enter that battery serial, it matches up with the computer) and a spare uses its own.

You all crack me up at least, thanks for the chuckles!
Conditional thievery is just something people do in order to justify whatever they are doing unlawfully. Downloading and cracking the Adobe suite? HIGH FIVE! Breaking into a car dealership and driving off with a car you didn't pay for? NO of course not! Because 'that's different' when it isn't. A company offers a product/service and you are using it/taking it without compensation for that item. Digital or physical it's the same thing.
In fact you may have some games that I don't own maybe I'll swing by later and take them from you free of charge. Of course you wouldn't be upset with that because hey it's only fair right?
And I know all the usual arguments "It's just a digital copy no one loses anything" and "Cars cost a lot more and you'd get arrested" The "Man" owes me, other people are idiots so I should have the right to be one too and on and on.
Humans are the only species capable of believing the lies we tell ourselves.
my point exactly...
I really don't get all the wankers here with all there high morals about downloading is steeling. It aint steeling, and if it was i wouldn't feel one single bit of guilt...i'm getting robed here everyday by the government, at work, hell i'm even getting robed buying grocery's...why should i be the idiot paying for something i can get for free...and don't start the "people are losing their jobs if you don't buy it" if they do than they should get in line. Here's an idea... maybe the CEO's could spare a few of their billions to help the staff out and make them keep their job...
