Sarah's Symphony

Sarah Brightman is a 47 year old British phenom. She's a singer, actress and dancer. This classical crossover soprano started her solo career back in 1993.

Her fan base has grown with every album as she keeps getting better and better with time. When I think about how to best describe Sarah and her work, words fail me for she is so versatile yet diverse. Her style is just... well... different...

The closest explanation I could come up with is quoted on her official website http://www.sarah-brightman.com/

“Tell me more about Sarah ...”
It's a casual and simple enough request. However, attempts to respond invariably begin with a prolonged pause… as one tries to formulate a response that can meaningfully encapsulate the longevity, diversity and mystique of Sarah Brightman.

After all, how can one adequately summarize a career that has defied categorization...…a voice that has defied description...… and an appeal that has defied conventional demographics?

She has produced eight albums to date:
Dive (1993)
Fly (1995)
Time to Say Goodbye (1997)
Eden (1998)
La Luna (2000)
Classics (2001)
Harem (2003)
Symphony (2008)

Over the years I have fallen asleep to many a Brightman tunes. Sarah soothes me, she soothes my spirit; soothes my soul. I'm certainly looking forward to more soul-pleasing, mind and body refreshing albums to come.
