Timeless Thursday: Susan Sarandon

In life I find that some people make difficult things seem easy.

Susan Abigail Tomalin is one of those persons.

She acheives much and make it appear rather effortless.

She's an actress, mom and political activist for liberal causes.

She has won an Academy, BAFTA and SAG Awards for Best Actress for her role in Dead Man Walking (1995). In all she has won 38 Awards of one kind or another and have had 23 other nominations.

She's had a full life and accomplished life thus far. This is all reflected on her face. She has been there; done that and it's all ok. It was a part of the journey. A journey, mind you, that is not over.

She shows no signs of slowing down. She is open-minded; a state you do not acheive without having a high level of intelligence and experience. To be open-minded is to have lived and accepted life's lessons.

When I look at Susan I see wisdom, I see grace, I see someone who is truly comfortable in the skin she's in.

She's opinionated and out-spoken and those are traits that I admire. It's an absolute delight to watch her on and off screen.

She has been in the business since 1970. She has four movies in the works three of which are set for release this year and one 13 March 2009.
